The last blog entry was about the man who was having a medicle emergency. This is what happened the next day:
I walked into work and people were talking about what happened. Everything just was going over my head, I wasnt even listening. Then I heard my name mentioned and my ears perked up. Next thing I know everyone was asking me about what happened and congragulating and calling me a hero. I shocked, I was not the hero, I feel like I hardly did anything actually. You know I sat with him for a while waiting for the ambulance, we talked but thats about it. So apparntly the man was having a sever allergic reaction to his medication, which is what he said the night before. They kept him at the hospital for the night, and part of the next day. As sson as he was released he was in contact with our corporate office telling them what had happened and how much he appreciated the people who helped him! I mean he really meant it. I have a copy of the email we get from corporate, I will post it on this blog. Anywho, later that day after my shift started I was walking towards the front counter when someone shouts my Amanda. I turned around and there was a man looking at me... It litterally took me 10 secs to figure out who he was. It was the man from the night before. He looked so different, so healthy! So ALIVE! He gave me a big hug and thanked me a million times, told me what had happened adn how much he really appreciated everything I did for him. This guy was so nice, I am so glad I was there to be part of the team who helped him. Im proud of us and what we did. Way to go crew!
ps. Cant get the image on here, post later seperatly.
