Worthy of Love

Crazy that's what Amanda means. This woman walked up to me, took one look at my chest and said Amanda huh? that's a nice name, do you know what it means? I said no and she informed me that it means worthy of love. Crazy and very romantic I guess.

So tomorrow is my first night working the new schedule so I am practicing for the rest of my truck stop career. I am trying to make it so that I wont be tired tomorrow during work and maybe when I get home from school I will figure out when my 'nap' time is lol.

I met a man tonight, of course like what else can happen there. His name was Rick and he had the same last name as I do. It was comical because I was teasing him how we are long lost family members (he is black) and how something terrible must have happened between some brothers or something and they never talked again. But that's why we have the same last name, and truly we are related. I don't think he bought it but it was fun for me! I gave him a free coffee and a free shower...after all we are family.

Last most exciting thing to happen today was we had an environmental study man come in and want to do a study. At the end of the night we closed all of our pumps down for 4 hrs! Do you know how much time that leaves for cranky customers to come in and complain?! A lot. Like for real, don't ya think if they see its closed they would have a lot better luck going to the station right next door instead of getting out of their cars and coming in to yell at us. Common sense I guess. Apparently people over here lack in that subject. No offense anyone.

Tomorrow for my first night with the new shift I will be the only girl on that shift. Should make things very interesting around there, I hope that everything goes well and none of the guys give me too hard of a time. I guess I will find out.
